Embodied Resilience is a course with the purpose of helping you foster a deeper mind-body connection, improve your stress resilience, and manage your MS symptoms.
During the 8 modules you'll learn the language of your nervous system via mindfulness practices, journaling exercises, nutrition suggestions, movement protocols and more. Through various educational resources, you will learn how to cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and control over your physical and emotional well-being.
This is a wonderful opportunity to put yourself first and invest in you and your long term healing.
Decrease in MS symptoms
Learn how to support your body through difficult emotions and stress, which help to lessen symptoms.
Calmer body and mind
No more waking up with anxiety or your thoughts going 1000 miles an hour. Being able to tolerate feeling your body instead of ignoring it.
Confidence to manage stress
You'll befriend your nervous system and learn to work with it, not in spite of it, to become resilient towards stress (often our biggest symptom trigger).
Newfound trust in yourself
You'll be able to successfully do what you say you want to do, even if you experience fear, resistance or it isn't "perfect".
"I joined Embodied Resilience to narrow down stressful events, what is causing them and how to get out of the event. I found Alissa's teaching is real, relatable, and easy for peeps to be able to pick it up, grab it and then USE IT! The biggest thing I realized was when I discovered swaying was such a comfort (and with the babies too). I have also noticed this past week I am raising my right hand to my chest /heart and just say, “you are healing everyday” (my daily mantra) or “You are well with your soul.” I would absolutely recommend Embodied Resilience to others!

“After my therapist suddenly left the practice I was with, I knew I still needed to help my nervous system, so Embodied Resilience was perfect timing! I thought the course was good! I like the group class structure with watching videos and then having weekly calls. There was helpful information in it. I feel like we only touched the surface on later topics. The biggest thing ER helped me with is being able to recognize what state my nervous system is in. I also really liked learning techniques to help me when in a state of fight or flight. I would definitely recommend Embodied Resilience!
